Course Eligibility & Requirements

Completely Unrestricted: Open to all generations—from elementary and junior high school students to senior citizens. Anyone is fully welcome to attend.
2. Other Qualifications
Education, Career, and Nationality: No background requirements whatsoever. Foreign nationals are fully eligible to attend and obtain the certification, provided they can comprehend the lectures and possess basic reading and writing proficiency in Japanese.
3. Exceptions to Eligibility
Current License Holders: Individuals who already hold a 3rd-Class Land Special Radio Operator license cannot duplicate their enrollment in this training curriculum.
*Note on Lost Licenses: In the event of a lost license card, please apply for a formal re-issuance (Replacement Application) directly through the regional Bureau of Telecommunications rather than retaking the course.

Q07 100g未満の「模型航空機」であれば、どこでも自由に飛ばせますか？ Since it is a “model aircraft” under 100g, can I fly it freely anywhere?
航空法における「無人航空機」の登録義務やリモートIDの搭載義務、手続きの煩雑な一部の飛行許可承認申請は免除されますが、「完全にどこでも自由に飛ばせる」わけではありません。空港周辺や150m以上の特定上空、国の重要施設周辺、また各地方自治体が条例で定める公園など、別途規制されているエリアでの飛行は制限されます。フライトの際は、必ず現地のルールや土地管理者の許可を確認し、安全第一での運用をお願いいたします。
Although it is exempt from mandatory unmanned aircraft registration, remote ID requirements, and certain complicated flight permission and approval applications under the Aviation Act, this does not mean it can be flown completely freely anywhere.
